The bolo trainer has enhanced my training in ways I could not have imagined. The size is perfect if you really want to understand how an edged weapon works with the different energies Doug teaches. I have practiced with the Flotak trainer (which is awesome) a Katana, tomahawk, and other weapons, but when I purchased the Bolo, that was a game changer.
